Mesmerized By Moon's Silver Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Mesmerized By Moon's Silver

Rating: 5.0

Mesmerized by moon's silver,
Overawed by her,
And still in wonder,

Sleep possessed me soon,
Whilst silver still rained from moon
And ‘pon me as boon,

And a thought of whim
Whispered in my dream:
Bed's filled with silver to brim.

When woke up at dawn,
Dream having all gone,
I found me silk cotton prone!

Oftentimes what made us happy during our waking moments continue even in our dreams and we feel empty when we wake up realizing it's only but a dream. ///
