Merciful God Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Merciful God

Rating: 5.0

Though the tears may flow
You, will I remember
In my sadness
For the smiles to come

Though I am hit like one all alone
Stretch my hand I will
In my loneliness
To the void I know you are

Trip and fall I am defeated
Steadfast my eyes will heaven bound
In my failure
To hear your command "Arise and walk"

Though lost and rejected in sin
Remission will I ask of you
In my Quagmire
To hear you say "Son you are forgiven"
