A mysterious end to this interesting story and poem. Beautifully presented......10
Such a nice true story. All happening your house after arrival of the Brownie. How did the birds and squirrels disappear? were they frightened of the cat!
I have posted rejoinders to the posts of Dilipji, Rose Marie and Dr Nehal. But my posts vanished, I don't know where. If someone finds them, please direct them to this page 😀…
A wonderful poem with great images. A vivid depiction and keen observation on the nature of cats.
Thank You Rose Marie for the wonderful comments. You always try to delve deep into the poem before you make any comments. So I do always look forward to reading them.
Please read as: You are a matured poet. I feel your works and name will be remembered forever.
The truth is absolutely right but I think he has made a spelling mistake. He has written 'poised' instead of poison. You are matured poet. I feel somewhere, you are doing some mistake. Please remember dear poet, I am a freelancer who aims to refine the impurities of people.
Cats are maternal aunt of the Big Cats. Their domestication won't kill their basic instincts. Nice poem.
Hahaha! Are they! Nice poetic words, Dr Nehal. But, the second part of your observation is true. Cats do kill. But they are kind too. My daughter feeds het pet cat. Once he caught a pigeon for his food. He brought it to my daughter without even tasting it, in return to her feeding him regularly
Thank You, Lamar Cole for rating this poem Five Star. Much obliged.
Whoever are making obscene and vulgar disruptive posts in the name of ‘The Truth' are requested to avoid my pages for their duel.
Thank you Nabakishore. First-hand experience. Thank You
I had posted replies to the comments by Geeta and RM Smith. But my posts have vanished without a trace. Will someone help me trace them out?
