DENG KE HOU:
'After Passing the Imperial Examinations'
-- by Meng Jiao (Tang Dynasty)
-- Translated by Frank C Yue
Gone are the melancholy and the rejections of old.
From this morning onwards my radiant thoughts know no hold!
My high horse proudly gallops with the gentle breeze of Spring.
In one day, I see all Chang'an flow'rs that make my heart sing!
【登科後】 唐 • 孟郊
昔日齷齪不足誇,
今朝放蕩思無涯。
春風得意馬蹄疾,
一日看盡長安花。
