my man happened to be very diligent and constanly repairing things, but you created an excellent poem for the other men. Fantastic poem.5 Stars!
This is forthrightly hitting the nail on the head. I couldn't have said it better. However, it plainly discusses laxity but says a lot more figuratively. Thanks, poetess.
When a man has said he will do a thing, he will! No need to keep reminding him every six months or so😉
My dear ur right on all count. This poem had me laugh hard till my side hurt. Thanks for sharin

Men lament that they have no time to do things needed being done. Yet, they sit wasting time, watching T.V. for hours at a time. Not associating it with their apparent laziness and lack of initiative. RoseAnn V. Shawiak WELL YES and no ..some do some other not! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! GREAT! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! 10+++++
So true. So true. Lenient and salient. A thought-provoking piece, dear poetess.
Haha. I see your frustration here. Men are the there for us to struggle for and make us sensible. :)
Men? Well why not say humans to include women too, and they must be, and avoid sexism.
'Men lament that they have no time' is a common refrain for men including me at times. This sweeping generalization might not be palatable to all. Thanks.
Is this poetry or a mere prosaic statement that tries to speak the truth, although not very clearly. For instance: 'needed being done' is bad English. The last two lines are clearly plain prose. It should be 'sheer laziness' not 'apparent'. Why be shy of speaking the truth?
What away to deliver a message with amusement directly Leaving the reader in suspencial mindset.
For real, True words my sister. Always hungry but don't like to cook Oldest trick in the book, We, as women gave them bad habit. Too late to change it. Love it! ! !
I didn't realize you'd met me! No, I'm too busy on PH to watch Tv. Mind you I do copy my Cat's Buddhist philosophy a little too religiously. Good message. Tom Billsborough
Waow! What a blast! Well, I think this subjective. Real men are good companions. Read my poem: Because I am a Special Man
Men are like that, Roseann, for I am one of them….
