Memories We Will Never Forget Poem by Timothy Long

Memories We Will Never Forget

Everybody has a story to tell,
Most people just won't say it,
Don't worry of the pain and sorrow the tale brings,
everything will fade away if given the time,
there is more to experience and see,
like most others I just want to be free,
save your tears it will be okay,
I just wanted to catch a glimpse of what I never had,
work is all I can do,
losing potential memories every week on end,
it seems all I have left is my paper and pen,
the best is yet to come,
grow old with me if you will,
life if left to surprise's can be quite the thrill,
when can one say if they had their fill?
Despite any insecurity or fear I have,
I see many people live in their own insecure hate filled minds, bitter people I suppose aren't interested in what you say but what you hide,
being left alone will be a blessing in disguise,
no drama or physical pain,
only emotions will be the game to play,
with emotions comes memories,
ones I will dare not forget,
I'm a Time Machine you see,
Those that take me back are memories and those that carry it forward,
are dreams,
life as it goes will be different,
new memories will be made,
people will go and dissolve in your life,
don't let strife get you down,
if one can act right,
the memories will always be around.
