Memories Of Intimacy Poem by Felix Emeka George

Memories Of Intimacy

I remember when, two A.M that day.
A strange feeling, of love together standing
Eyes glistening longing for your touch
Kisses demanding a passion from hearts
Gives the feeling of a found lost half.

Memories of Intimacy is not just that.

Two like calling simultaneously on phone call all night.
With our continuous correspondence texting us away.
A simple desire and intertwining of two souls.
A love bewitched only by heart fears of tomorrow.

Memories of intimacy is not just that

Where we listen to think about only one love,
While others look to see the dots that don't connect.
Intimacy is to stand together in fierce mutuality
Knowing there was nobody else able to occupy the place
