Memories And Regrets Poem by Chelsea Cruz

Memories And Regrets

You are the sky that made it rain
Memories are these raindrops sparkling
You made this wind—cool and regretful
Until now, we don't know anything

Precious, what are you sorry for?
I can't search the whole cold universe
For reasons—when you didn't even try
Now i doubt your eyes and promises

If you loved me, I would know
If you loved me, you'll fulfil those promises
If you loved me, I wouldn't be in despair
If you loved me, you are still beside me

I fell for your puddle of lies
Your sorry feels different
You are distant, with my old smiles
I'm left only with misery and rain
Blaming you, and blaming myself
