Memorial Day Poem by Michael Hopkins

Note: I wrote this poem in the haiku style of poetry a few days ago while thinking about the upcoming Memorial Day holiday in the States. I chose the image to honor my father and uncles who served in the military at this time in our history and have all pasted away due to old age. They would have never submitted or cowered to the hoax creators and liberty thefts of the day. I published this poem today, the 29th of May,2021.
