Melody Of Eternity Poem by Mystic Qalandar

Melody Of Eternity

When the wind of knowing rose,
all separations fell away.
Parting lingered only as a veil.

The heart's longing,
no longer reaching for another,
turned inward,
burning toward its own light.

Gradually, the shadows of self melted.
A hidden river of light
flowed through the dark of being.
Each heartbeat ceased its search for the other
and became the echo
of the Eternal Beloved.

Slowly, the breath released its sorrow.
It turned to melody,
and the melody to stillness.

Then I saw—
silence is the deepest remembrance,
where even a breath
becomes a rosary of the Essential Name.

I walked on.
The destination smiled
at the patience of the path.

Then came a moment—
beneath my steps
the cosmos opened.

And I knew:
the journey is That,
and so is the traveler.

The wine He brewed,
the wine we drank—
were one and the same.

The Sage,
the Cupbearer of the soul,
now speaks within my silence,
and with my own hand
fills my own cup.

The thorn is Him,
the rose is Him—
the wound and the balm are His.

The step I took
was the place
where Eternity began to sing.

The grief of parting
boiled into autumn's glow,
rose as vapor toward the heights—
and when it returned,
it had become
the melody of Unity.

Now the veil of time
has fallen from forever.
Any moment,
any particle,
any thought I touch—
turns eternal.

I—
am eternal
through my own touch.
