Very beautiful but sad Sandra - life often does seem to be in vain, and there certainly seem to be more, thorns than roses.

Very sad, tender poem, life does lose what is it's best, whenever someone we love dies. Very touching poem, Sandra. RoseAnn

This poem is extremely well written. One can papate the sadness and depth of feelings expressed. The love sometimes seems to be gone so far away from us. The pain can be so big, but somehow the next little kindness done to us is the spark that will keep us going and we can multiply the little kindnesses and the sparks will provide the warmth we need to keep going. I wish you lots and lots of strenght and pray.

'Roses, You taught me with your Thorns That life is sad, akin to pain, That our poor lives are all in vain, When Love is gone, we turn to Rain.' I am deeply touched! 10/10.
