Meeting Poem by MAHTAB BANGALEE

Meeting

Rating: 5.0

By the kissing of sunlight
This cold body feels good

Leaves on leaves of tamarind
Care the shade on the pond

Floating ephemeral clouds
Court the light of lunation

Wings of the gratified butterflies
Unite the dews and blossoms petals

Flying ringdove in the words of songs
Coo the love to back to warmth sense

Breaths via the breeze touch the cruise,
And pass my boatman of the Padma

Night on the crossing river begets the sun
In sights manifold shape of beauties return

Pines stand with the voiceless hymn recitation
Willows knock on the doors of rippling waters

No head is engrossed in the blooming buds
But beneath the palm tree, I smell you with a lark

No dark there is, and no pain of loneliness gripes me
looking forward to meeting you to discover my entity

We can feel the wonders of existence when we are one with nature. A beautiful poem with great imagery. Well crafted and conveyed.
