This poem is a very vivid picture of a terrible place to work! Sincerely I hope you do not work there, and if you do, I hope that your love of poetry and dreaming will help you survive. I do confess in my working life poetry and the presence of God always helped me deal with bad bosses. It seems awful at the time but when I look back on it all the negative experiences at work sharpened imagination and lyricism in me as a reaction and a self protection against these petty tyrannies. Inside we can still be free. This is the code in every beautiful work of art. Mary Angela Douglas
