God watched them as He heard them cough
As they screamed at others to take their masks off,
Then He watch them crying refusing a vaccine
For a deadly virus that man has felt and seen.
Many cried and wrote that the world is lying
Even after millions have died, and many more still dying,
They shout out that our immune system will defeat Covid
But, all facts and truths they will quickly forbid.
We have defeated other virus's many times before
When it came knocking at our own front door,
In our arm in the past many of us have taken a shot
So, a virus like polio would not again be caught.
We take vaccines for Hib, Tetanus and the Flu
And for hepatitis, diphtheria and Chickenpox which we once knew,
We take vaccines for the mumps, the whooping cough and measles
We wanted them eradicated, so with science we defeated those evils.
Many nowadays will get on their hands and knees
Praying to God for the first time to protect them from a disease,
But, sadly most of those praying for help will surely die
Then at their judgment in Heaven to God they might ask him why.
"For protection from this virus we pleaded to you in a prayer"
"Lord of this virus were you not listening or aware",
"Because of faith we refused our shots with both violence and curses";
God then might say, "I heard your prayers, so I sent you doctors and nurses! "
