Reminds me of my childhood. My favorite bird song of all that I was familiar with. Haven't heard one for years.
Since I wrote this poem I have heard several more on hikes. They are special experiences.
I don't think I've ever heard one sing (Just seen one on the Globetrotters) The sounds and sights of nature are among the few things that bring me joy
Very funny, Kelly. I also remember the basketball player on the Harlem Globetrotters whose name was Meadowlark Lemon. Only you would have come up with a comment like that.
Singing Globetrotters would be unique. Yes getting out in nature can be therapy. I try to get out often enough that I don't need any other kind.
