A sad poem that reflects the state of the author's mind. Even the flowers and trees look gloomy and depressing.

5 Stars full for this great Classic Poem Of The Day that made my Day. The great famous poetess I know so well, her poems of course, not she in person

Dear Reader, Me thinks that Emily Bronte was a little heartbroken or depressed when she wrote this poem. Why does she think that the flowers are sad? Is it because she feels lonely in the mist? A sentiment that I can sympathise with but please do remember that out of solitude, came her success. -Gayathri B. Seetharam
