..................
I feel very me-ish today.
Yes, I do.
I feel very me-ish today.
How about you?
Do you feel as you-ish
As I feel like me?
Do you feel as you-ish
As you like to be?
I've noticed I've felt like me
For a long while.
I've got the me-me with that
Me-ishly me smile.
I think me-ish thoughts,
And they're all very clever.
And I've been thinking
Quite me-ishly me since
Forever!
You seem very you-ish-
From what I can see.
And the you part of you
Seems to work perfectly.
You've been so you-ishly you
For a week and a day,
And as a very you-you!
It's O-kayer than K.
It must be so fun
To be just who you are.
Top of the line,
A bright, shiny star.
To simply just be
The fine you that you see!
So perfectly you
To the umpteenth degree!
And I'm happy to be
Very me-ishly me.
There is nobody else
That I'd rather be.
When you feel like yourself,
You're ahead of the game,
And you're prouder than proud
Of your you-ish you name!

Thank you for this precious poem! Has a ring of Dr. Seuss to it! I'm so glad you are you-ishly you And that you have learnt to thine own self be true. And so for the moment, I bid you Adieu. This one gets a 10. Since you have an appreciation for nonsense and children's poetry, you may enjoy my Mad Sock Eating Society.
