Me born to suffer as a creeping worm
I am accustomed of exploitation as
Breath for lungs and beats for heart.
Inequality and injustice, insult and hatred
Always chased me like my own shadow.
Everyone feels proud to dominate me.
Love and compassion feel comfortable
To stay a mile away from me.
I clean your street and residential areas
Just for a nominal pay.
But you all behave me like untouchable clay
Always treat me inferior to domestic pets
Restricting me to enter your gate
When you arrange fests to enjoy.
Me tired to face discrimination
Followed by color and caste.
Still, you are clever enough to mock me
Displaying words like
Me as Integral part of your community.
When voice against your cruelty
Going to raise up, you well know
How to handle marginal class.
It is a humble request for you
Confirm, if you bear a heart of human
Help me to live like a human
Not like a creeping worm.
