'me and my shadow'
i am a shadow.
never seen,
always there.
i am a shadow.
listening,
never heard.
i am a shadow,
who sits, who watches, who waits.
i am a shadow.
who sits in silence, and fades away.
my armor surrounds me,
so hard, so cold.
a woven shield, of lies.
you wont see through my mask,
you wont get past,
my eyes.
a shadow conceals,
the ones who hide,
and keeps them hidden well.
the shadows are what i hide behind,
the shadows are my veil.
