Me And My Life Poem by Sanu Sharma

Me And My Life

Rating: 5.0

At times, my life whispers falsehoods to me
sometimes, I too tell lies to my life
at times, I suffer the fallout of deceit's decree,
and sometimes, I endure penalties for my lies.

My life is devoted to pulling me underground
yet, I stand strong on my battleground
determined I am
not to let my life defeat my pride.

In this relentless clash, between
me and my life
both of us persist restlessly, trying
to find the weakest moment in one another.

At times, life chases me in haste,
sometimes, I'm the one to chase my life.
at times, life flees from my reach,
and sometimes I try to escape from
the grasp of my life.

I'm in pursuit of a chance in sight,
waiting for that perfect moment
to seize triumph in this lifelong fight.
