Me And My Companionship Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Me And My Companionship

Me and my companionship
I enjoy learning and growing
Hard winds may blow
I need not worry that my candle will burn out
I may yell only to myself as when I shout
It is me who listens to what i have to say
This body is only made of clay
So one day it will perish
But for that why not to cherish?
The moments I spend only with me
The moments only when I penetrate with me to see
What sparks are hidden which I should unravel
No not to the world but to me and my inner me which travel
All over the world hidden within me to come out in the open
I enjoy my companionship and perceive the rains pour down the heaven
Where breathes no cacophony only prevails harmony
It is only me I hear. It is only me I fear. it only me who could be my seer
Coz only me who is my dear
None to complain, none to blame
None to play a game, but it is all to me who I lay
I lay bare my bosom to me
And close my eyes to find the key
To unlock the gates of happiness
That flow within me as I wander in space
Before and after lie down for the eternal rest.
