May Your Truth

May Your truth sink into my heart
And take up residence there
And leave me with Your testimony Father
Lending me to praise and prayer
For You are the Almighty God
The Alpha and Omega true
No other righteousness can be compared
As to what I have found in You

The Author and Finisher of our faith
Praise God we're in Your hands
And Your Word our blessed Testifier
Praise God the Bible stands
You loved me just as I was
A sinner...lost and undone
With a wonderful...unfailing love
Through Jesus Christ Your Son


O for a heart like David
That praised You in the Psalms
That held You as dear as You held Him
Safe in the Master's arms
There's none other place to find sweet rest
Then in You...my Lord and my God
Whet my appetite today afresh
To seek You in the Word!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
