May we find the way
With voices of work
Sacrifice even death
To end poverty
Dead straight in its tracks
To murder murder
To hate all such hate
As to love All Love
May we find the way...
To meet these damned tasks

There's a certain quality to this verse that seems to bridge generations. If Dubois had found himself in the aftermath of the Civil Rights era, the late 60s and 1970s, I can just imagine him using these words, this tone. Excellent verse, Richard. So well done.
