Thank you for these kind comments. I don't usually write this kind of poem- being more into reaching out to touch the emotions rather than the intellect. I am glad it worked!

Life can be smooth and turbulent in turn! But let us try to look squarely in the face of life, no matter, it smiles at us or frowns at us! Each moment is precious and so much has to be garnered from life! There is hardly any time to waste in regrets....! What is expected of us is to thank God for our blessings and seek greater endurance in times of trouble and stress. Developing a compassionate heart is more important in making life worthwhile than anything else! I too believe that compassion is the Queen of virtues! This turbulent world needs much compassion! Your poem is more powerful than a powerful sermon and I love the thoughts expressed here... Susan!

You too can write sermons! Such a kindly sermon too! ! ! It helps my soul to remember to thank God daily for the blessings I enjoyed that day and for giving me the strength to endure the day's trials - - it is so calming to remember that all things are of use in building our mind and heart and soul. Thank you Valsa for your kind words here!

Bharati- -when I read the comments on other people's poems it's usually because my brain has turned to sludge and I haven't a clue as to what the poet was saying! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Other brighter minds have usually latched on and now I can see what I was blind to before- -often I have to wonder if my brain took a hike or something! ! ! ! I do get amazed by the capacity of understanding and depth here in the PH membership. Thank you Bharati
