May I be with you tonight,

may I look in your eyes,

and see you smile,

may I be silent,

and seem far way,

for tonight I am,

I am running in fields,

where yellow flowers grow,

chasing after butterflies,

and flying on the wind,

tonight I look up,

to see the stars,

and to see the clouds,

running before the moon,

Tonight I'll feel the wind,

that goes through my hair,

and rustles trees,

that grow afar,

tonight is for magic,

and elves to sing,

tonight I would be with you,

and have you with me.
