permutations and combinations / calculus and geometry all went over my head in school...i feared maths as a ghost of a madman... 'Into the ‘Into of Wisdom Mine’ explained to me how calculative maths is linked to the calculative mind with calculative thoughts, principles and calculative emotions....

Offbeat Poem To corroborate math with poetry is difficult …but in painting cubism [An artistic movement in France beginning in 1907 that featured surfaces of geometrical planes] probably Pablo Picasso tried it. In this poem poetic reflection of math nicely brought…with a morale when one climbs peak of pyramid wisdom flourishes and, ‘Thou dost my wee I: Thine/Into the ‘Into of Wisdom Mine’ ‘ 10+ AB London

Yeah Mathematics has many say… Knowledge culminates in Wisdom when the psychic vision is clear and unveiled… When things seen thro’ prism of ‘perfect vision’ [unalloyed] …folly of my ‘right’ surfaces and when it can stand the acid test of time it is Wisdom else are just petty knowledge… Saying of Great Aristotle let us remind ‘Only thing I know I know nothing’ its wisdom… 10

I wonder what may not be object for poetry. Beyond any dimension and imagination poets reside in. Thus Spake Mathematics [Mathématiques Ainsi Parlait] poet conceived aptly and infused the difference between Knowledge and Wisdom and Pyramid as symbol very well corroborated. Conclusion is, ’Thou dost my wee I: Thine/Into the ‘Into of Wisdom Mine’. Indeed Wisdomful with sublime immixing of Spirituality.. Very well done Ma’am. 10

Simplification, multiplication, division, plus/minus, >/<= Approximately MS. NIVEDITA BAGCHI SPC. UK. Nice poem. I have something like it in my 2002 collection of 46 poems. I like it.

Offbeat Poem yet so common …formula of mathematics and blending with moral is pleasant reading. Knowledge segregates [like I’m only I’m] but Wisdom aggregates [like we’re indeed we’re]. Concluding lines are dainty ‘Thou dost my wee I: Thine/Into the ‘Into of Wisdom Mine’. Thanks for sharing 10++ dr. sakti

a profound poem...revealing the essence of true knowledge, which is aquired only through constant learning...the only way to nullify half knowlegde and reach the zenith of enlightenment.

Wonderful comparison of knowledge and Wisdom… This poem I hope help us come closer instead of closure 6 10+++ Dr. V.

Knowledge begins at the baseline and with experience and or enlightenment one reaches the vertex 'infinite' the greatest point in one's life. a 10+++

Poor Pythagoras; could never have expounded his theory with success. 'Square on the hypotenuse is always equal to square on the perpendicular plus square on the base.' Lol he would be lost in the processing of the infinite. I would just say without using any brains; 'INFINITE' Q.E.D. And become the greatest mathematician or the greatest fool of my time.

Noetic Pyramid …distinction between knowledge and Wisdom very nicely inculcated Sr. Poet John wrote, ‘…The apex of the triangle is WISDOM which is attained by less than 1 in 10,000 of the population….’ I think the ratio is far from the said number. Wise men think alike and knowledgeables think unlike… ‘Inversely Proportional’ applicable almost everywhere…e.g. plus quantity minus quality 10++

The pyramid is a symbol of strength and wisdom. This is briefly and nicely told here.

Poet has inducted thro’ Math with logical metaphor of pyramid instead of segregation … we need aggregation Ritual [exercise] required for it is highly individualistic…and here poet didn’t cut any sermon… and it is intelligent and wise…a perfect-tailored poem…for psychic regurgitation and after-taste 10++ out ten mathematically

Ah Miss NIV La Mathenaticienne! ! ! ! ! Dans Mathematiques de l'espirit - Dans le triangle equilateral de sagasse - las base est connaisence - un cote comprehension et l'autre esperience. Everybody has KNOWLEDGE of something (or other) fewer have UNDERSTANDING and EXPERIENCE. The apex of the triangle is WISDOM which is attained by less than 1 in 10,000 of the population. The diminishing volume of the triangle (towards the apex) illustrates this fact. Show me a Wise Man and I will see a rarity. Thanks for sharing such a challenging poem NIV. By sharing - analysing and commenting on each others poems we make each other a little WISER which can only be a good thing. 'Thou dost my wee I: Thine into the 'Into Wisdom Mine'. Love you through poetry - JOHN.

A very good contemplative verse on 'Realization' and wisdom to be attained and lived instead of quarreling with half-knowledge, in mathematical language with French language fragrance. There is a story in Indian spiritual tradition that it is possible to attain Self-Realization in split of a second i.e.; time taken to ascend on a horse-back after putting leg on the saddle step. Self-realization can be gradual or instantaneous depending on Lord's Grace. Nice verse. Enjoyed it much and the realization attained by you is appreciated with warm and loving heart

Sorry mathematics in real term I'm poor and I hate the subject. And this time I read the verses and most of it I can't decipher and therefore I can't appreciate the work. The first verse is the only thing I understand, it's true under the base of a pyramid is great knowledge, wisdom.I'm not wise when it comes to geometrical, trigonometry etc...
