The reminiscences tease, mate is overseas.
Takes away the sleeps, mate is overseas.
Nights and days, eyes measure the distance,
The heart stays unease, mate is overseas.
Dense clouds when rain, wet nights give pain,
Woes of heart increase, mate is overseas.
All alone the ears, on the phone keen to hear:
Ticket is now released, mate is overseas.
As come the evenings, dreams start frightening,
Happy thoughts get cease, mate is overseas.
Although a lot done, for heart but in vain,
Not know how to appease, mate is overseas.
The mind endures, on message box for sure,
To read the words that please, mate is overseas.
