Mas'uda Poem by Mansur Abdullahi

Mas'uda

Rating: 5.0

Tell her not to leave
because she's the reason i want to live

since I set my eyes into hers, my mind was full of brame
should you give me chance, the mind is what I want to frame

As i was walking down the lane
when my mind was truly plain

appears this fair tall girl with a perfect mold
a kind hearted one, that's more precious than gold

yet took away all my senses
as testify by my tenses

if not it was not yet my time, i believe i would have die
the very first time she looks into my eye

the world was as far as a mile
the feelings i have when first I saw her smile

oh my perfect Rab! you created such a fault -free soul from head to sole!
with brain and beauty all in this a soul!
