I love the last part of the poem.........! All are victims of the cruel fate, awaiting and dreaming of some kind of escape. The clients who approach the fortune teller and even the bird who picks up the tarot cards dream of better environs when they will be freed of all shackles of life! A powerful observation and statement of life!

'Oh master my master! Can't you write my fate in a white envelope, I have been serving you since long, so long, that I may pick for myself, with a write inside, thanks blue bird, you are free and may go back, to your lonely spouse! ' Our lives are lived half in finding peace inside a cage, and half in dreaming of flying one day.. The master of our Fate is there and still not there.. Maybe the saying that ONE IS THE MASTER OF THEIR FATE holds a lot of truth, but for that to become a reality, we need strength.. And most of the times we just lack that.. Thank you for sharing Akhtar sahaab..
