Hi Alison. I found your poem to be refreshing and revealing. Many of us have masks that we wear, either by choice or necessity. I myself have found that I am recognized as a caregiver a friend. Very few people seem to realize the person I am within. Being able to share poetry with others has been rewarding. This website has opened a new level of understanding and appreciation.
