Yes, marriage is not merely good, it is sacred and lovely where the union of two hearts happen! But it is not smooth sailing! Sometimes the journey together can become so turbulent. But the love and support we get from our partner holds the vessel in tact and saves it from getting crashed on the rocks and shoals of life! Love this poem!
Valsa, you are right on! At first I think there is an optimism based in a naivete. Later on that optimism finds rooting in a sharing and love. Thank you so much.
Marriage is good because it helps the person to unite and procreation goes on. A beautiful poem on marriage has been posted by you hauntingly.
Marriages are necessary for keeping the family as unit of the society. Where individuals become an unit of the society, the society becomes a Jungle. Great poem!

that limes contouring................................. i'm baffled, by limes AND marriage! ! bri :) i was so bored today, i clicked on Hot Poems.
Hi Bri, Thanks for stopping by...hope you aren't too baffled....would be a crime to be baffled by marriage.
yes, let's declare marriage is good... of course it sails through some really rough seas at times and a person feels like bailing on it but then there comes the time when you grab onto each other and hold on with all your might because the world has become a terrifying monster-ridden place and then there's the honeymoon spells that refresh. Great poem- I like the repeating soft lips image!
Thank you, Susan. Yes, you really do understand the cycles and phases within a marriage.
You have sum up the beauty of bitter-sweet marriage. Marriage gets sweeter as it ages. Thank you. Enjoyed it. Score 10.
