Marriage And Love Comments

Rating: 5.0

Males and females are there in all the species,
But marriage is meant for only the Humans.
Sad, if it fails; sadder if it exists without love.
For other species, marriage is not there, but love is.

@Valsa George, While appreciating my poem, you have shared two of your priceless observations: 'Only on sound families, can a sound society be built up... ' and 'But people who honour the sanctity of marriage is a blessing to the society! ' Thanks for sharing your wisdom with us. Also, thanks for inviting me to your poem 'Nuggets of Wisdom. No.3', which I have read and conveyed my comments to you separately.

How well you have described the sanctity of the institution of marriage in this pithy write! When love is not there in marital relations, it ceases to be a compatible union....! Only on sound families, can a sound society be built up... Unfortunately marriage bonds are easily shaken these days as they are not built on strong foundations.... Of course, it is not smooth sailing always....! But people who honour the sanctity of marriage is a blessing to the society! Khairul....More than the beauty of the poem, I honour the message you have promulgated through this neat poem! I invite you to read my poem Nuggets of Wisdom. No.3 on marriage!

Marriage is not just the union of two bodies, But also of two souls, their thoughts, wishes, whims, Desires, cries and laughter together. Their ways of life. Love is the hub of marriage, the kitchen is of family life. this is soooooo true i just love it

You know how they said in old times. A woman marries for kitchen and a man marries for food from kitchen. Love hangs some where between there! Good poem. Thanks for sharing.

Truth spoken, well said: Sad, if it fails; sadder if it exists without love. I think very few are the couples who can have the union of souls and keep it for a life time.

@Lorraine Colon, 'The most important component is love; when that's missing, everything goes awry.' - Your observation is so true! Thanks for reading the poem, and for your comment.

You define marriage in an excellent manner. The most important component is love; when that's missing, everything goes awry.
