had a man written this, the pseudo feminists would be up in arms calling it 'sexist' and 'unreal'. A man is usually cowed down to not reveal his worry 'cause of his 'manliness'. i guess a lot of men out there get a 'beating' too and never talk about it. poetry wise, well written tragi-comedy/parody on life 10/10

Well, I suppose it could be described as such, when a man who loves is treated in such a way. I have heard of this. I am reminded of a poem of mine called THE CORE OF SIN. I won't give it away, but the essence of this writing is contained in it. Though it is a very different writing. GW62

oh yes, men are also victimised in marriage. it is sad the law is partial to women, and at times they get away with murder and leave him bankrupt. we are all human, feel hurt when spurned, disrespected. very fine compassionate poem Deepti.10

the title of the poem is so apt and catchy-it is true in this world where materialism reigns supreme at times women- who are supposed to be an epitome of love puts up a tardy form and ruin many lives at a go! deepti after all it takes all type of people to make this world.very well propounded

a mis match...a mis marriage...such things can happen in life...an urge for vengeance perhaps prior to her marriage, could have been rooted in the mind of that woman...a ten for the nice narration
