May I see you on the veranda laying between the ocher shelves.
And you say your always alright your petals swaying limply now
Resting finally as you grope the edge not knowing whether to fall off.
I wish for you I truly do but we both know that's not gonna get us anywhere.
Giving up your spirit and passion so you can just lay here with me now.
Oil spills covering the street below like chromatic swimming pool.
Loving you is hard sure but wouldn't it be better to die together.
Death may be a bit much for most people but not for us right?
Serenity in the daze of of cars swerving off the road
Perseverance depleted just wishing for the nights to end
Ice cold water showering over my face hoping to awaken
Canning away my emotions for later work and personal reverence
Ever now in a state of bitter unhelpful self reflection
