expanse of silver tarnished= I do not understand the place of ''silver'' here, Barry.//It sounds wisefull and sensitive.
The expanse of silver is the moon, the moon's color. The mare sirenum is a crater of the moon. The moon, which is associated with love, is calling men like a siren. But age and wisdom teach us to seek lower orbits, more realistic challenges of love.
Oh yes, I see it now.It sounds me beautiful.
