Many Years Ago Poem by Tyler Cobb

Many years ago something bad happened to me
Many years ago,  I had an injury
Many years ago my life got turned around. 
Many years ago when I crashed into the ground
Many years ago I didn't have a lot of strain. 
Many years ago before I injured my brain. 
Many years ago, I didn't deal with stress 
Many years ago before my life became a mess!  
Many years ago I had started therapy,  
Many years ago  before I knew what true strength could be.  
Over all these many years my life has changed a lot!  
But I've turned it all around and come back;  
because the lord said it was not

Not yet  my time to die but instead time for me to live. 
And open up my eyes because I have much more to give!  
There's a bigger purpose for my life then what my plans once where. 
My only setback is what are those plans; that in not for sure?  
But I'll continue to work hard every single day. 
To reach  that goal,  
And enjoy the life I still have while I'm on my way!
