Many Women, Few Mothers

A child of another
In your care entrusted
A slave becomes
While yours a noble
A woman not a mother you are

Not too sure I understand this. My mother considered children in her care as her very own. They were treated as her very own with endless love and compassion.

Happy to hear this about your mother. God bless her. In my part of the world, some families that are not financially buoyant give out their children as maids to some rich families, only for these families to treat the maid as a slave. Very pathetic I tell you. Thanks for your lovely comment.
