SUNFLOWERS TIP THEIR BLUSHING FACES etc. Instead of describing what the sunflowers SAW, you describe the effect of the revelation on them. That.s brilliant! Our imaginations are excited by their diffidence and see a feast of the senses, to change the metaphor. I like the way the poem itself functions as a veil keeping intimate things intimate It is a poem of suspended anticipation, rather than hasty satisfaction.
