i believe the volcano vesuvius still exists in naples italy, and the firebirds as i see them are the guardians who brave their souls for the mother that they know. i am truly honored for this dedication. your co poet and friend always. a double ten- one for you and one for me.

manuscript of the ancient history, the Grego-Roman glorious days. I like the second line in the first stanza - fire birds are chirping on the stairs of Vesuvius. According to my own interpretation fire birds could be the melting hot lava that Madam Vesuvius puked out from her mouth and covertly crawling down below her foot. In another way, fire birds could be hawks, eagles, falcon looking males serenading strangely in front of Ms. Venus' lovely home or she's stood admiring them all on her balcony. At any rate, whatever it is I love this piece, the way it's written. Cheers! 10+

Beautiful dedication as usual that has lovely lines such as these 'dusty pathways seducing endlessly / fire birds are chirping on the stairs of Vesuvius / grinding love down from its trembling cage / let them prove their brave souls fights on War of Antiochos...'
