Mantle Poem by Felix Otiende

Mantle

We all need a shoulder,
One we can hold on to,
Cry with or laugh to,
One who smile in the storm too,

Quit chasing the air,
People who want to leave,
You can't force love
Death is love,

Yes, love adds value and perfection,
Its peace that we all long for,
Your people are people and vice versa,
Love is attachment to future,

What's love without a smell?
Remember Ruth and Naomi?
Love is passed to generations,
It binds the ages and heal the wounds.
