3 - i'm sure some (many) readers could use a Poet's Notes for this poem, to help them figure it out. Or, DID i MISINTERPRET it? ? ha ha. bri :)

2 - i guess there is symbolism here. But, maybe not. i wonder if you are suggesting that human populations were long ago separated from one another due to the breaking apart of some continents and throwing up of mountain ranges. hmm? and eventually, when oceans and mountains could be crossed more easily, different languages etc. etc. caused animosity to rear its ugly head. bri :) to MyPoemList
