Yea, in the midst of trouble and strife,
The cowards choose death and the heroes choose life,
The best battle on by day and by night,
The dark night of the soul and Man's worst fears to fight.
And the best persevere, regardless of cost,
To face each new bridge until they have crossed,
Such that their next journey is yet one more day,
If their perseverance continues to stay.
The wisest endure, and they do so by faith,
No matter the battle or need to be brave.
As their hopes face each sorrow, they pray and take life,
For they seek tomorrow, each joy and each strife.
Two sides of the coin, the left and the right,
Each up and each down and each day and each night.
For life is the gift that God alone gives,
And blessed is the soul as it strives and it lives.
Yea, life is the greatest gift of them all,
But even the great and the mighty must fall.
If God stays the true judge of when that shall be,
Let that be His judgment. Yea, even for me.

Introduction notes for the notebookLM podcast review:
This Gospel poem is by the Poemhunter poet Denis Martindale.
The title of the Gospel poem is:
MAN'S GREATEST POWER IS PERSEVERANCE!
Denis Martindale explains his Gospel poem by stating it portrays
the faith of Methuselah, who lived for over 900 years and the
faith of Jesus Christ, who lived for 33 years. Each lifetime
served as a sign of God's divine judgment and salvation.
Neither fought against God's timing, but faced each day and
each night of their lives through the power of perseverance.
