Is it the knife?
Is it the gun?
Is it the cannon?
Is it the tank?
Is it the bomb?
Are these the root of the problem?
No, it is none of the above
It is mankind that is the problem
Sniffling, conniving., holier than thou
Stab you in the back mankind
Who thrusts the knife
Aims the gun
Loads the cannon
Maneuvres the tank into position
Then fires it
If that is not sufficient
Drops the bomb
Inert, mindless objects
Don't spring into action
On their own
Show neither hatred or bigotry
But people and people alone
Are completely responsible
For their creation and use.
