Manipulated Motto And Meaning Of Religion

Manipulated Motto And Meaning Of Religion
Misguided people to launch a series of crusade.
The beliefs relating to martyrdom motivated
Both Christians and Muslims to kill or die
In the operation of occupying their holy place.
Millions of innocent people were killed
In the name of worthless holly wars.
Those who died in war,
Honoured as Martyrs, their death regarded as
A glorious death, worthy for entry to Heaven.
Genocide, riot and rape were shamelessly
Treated as features of glorious invasion.
There was no space for fraternity,
Peace, humanity and brotherhood.
The philosophy of killing opponents
Dominated concepts of justice & altruism.
Even sacrifice of own son
To please Lord, regarded as
Dedicated love for Almighty.
Religion ruined concepts of integrity,
Peace, harmony and co-existence,
Mutual respect and mutual beliefs.
It enhanced division, conflict & controversy
At the cost of equality, justice & humanity.

Amen. And that is the truth. Religion is politics and politics is religion. Both are dangerous to humanity. We just need love and all our problems are sorted. It is religion which says one way of praying is correct the other is wrong. Empires and conquest have been underwritten by religion. So does religion have anything to do with God? No! We know that the origin of everything is love so we just need to love each other and we are done. The rest is politics.
