Manhours Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Manhours

At the bank in today
People queuing daily
Some have banking queries
Could have been solved as a series
Messages broadcast on the phone
In the comfort of your home
What a waste of manhours

Go round town to all banks
No one saying thanks
They ve been standing in queues
As if banks don't have tools
To virtually assist customers
Treating people like elastomers
What a waste of womanhours

Some people are carrying babies
Both men and ladies
It's Saturday the maid's day off
To all these kids the banks scoff
Not a care in the world
Like the whole system has failed
What a waste of peoplehours

What a waste of men hours
A waste of women hours
A waste of boy hours
A waste of girl hours
A waste of baby hours
A waste of people hours
What a waste of manhours.
