Mango Poem by Lodigiana Poetess

Mango

You're eating a Mango
so juicy and fine,
as you sink your teeth in
I wish it was mine.
I dream of the taste
and the smell so exotic,
just watching you eat it
becomes quite hypnotic
The flesh looks so plump
and the texture so loose,
If it were a man
I'd be easily seduced.
Instead I can only
avert my eyes quick
and whilst you feast on mango
I'll crunch celery stick!
