Mandela!
Mandela!
Nelson Mandela,
fierce warrior of peace,
stare down the tyrant,
speak for the least.
Mandela!
Give hatred no foothold
to clamber upon
the bent backs of children
and make them its pawn.
Mandela!
Let virtuous justice
redeem crimson lands
till the dove glides to rest
in albescent sands.
Mandela!

A wonderful poem. Well written.
Thanks, Mandela is one of my heroes. I once wrote a peace plan in which I used his testimony at his trail for sabotage to explain why peace has been impossible for Palestinians.
