Hunted still are by men gone insane/Oh who can placate these wretched men! Poignantly expressed sir! I take this Limerick in different plane as it is loaded with pathos than humor!
You are right, wild beasts may kill other beasts for their hunger. But man is the only beast that kills for no reason other than his pleasure. Many thanks.

I despise hunting too! Good for you, for having written this charitable and humane poem All hunting, slaying instruments should be banned. It is not a sport, its murder. Thank you very much!
No one can disagree. Hunting should be totally banned. But today only endangered birds and beasts come under the ban. Thanks for your comments.
