Man’s Religious Facade

The powers received unto man
The knowledge some have gained
Come with life’s eternal plan
With responsibility chained

Accountable; is man and child
All flesh on earth that lives
We can’t persist in running wild
Whilst thinking God forgives

Technology can see no bounds
Science shows no defeat
As nations seek immoral grounds
To bomb each foe they greet

Throughout the globe the same old song
Each nation sings with pride
Our way is right and theirs is wrong
And God is on our side

The tests of life for all are hard
Both here and every land
Religions with their fine facade
Can’t force The Master’s hand

God has no thirst for human blood
Nor will He kill us all
If all would live the way we should
There’d be no way to fall

However much some think it odd
This world can still unite
There’s but one way that leads to God
The Way of Truth and Light

There is a God on Heaven’s throne!
And He has but one Son
Upon this world Christ rules alone
In whom true peace is won
