We think very often what shall we reply on when a person says us hi. There are no lies behind this word. We can feel self dignity of the greetings through hi. An excellent poem is beautifully penned and this is very thoughtful...10
Thank you, Kumar! You are right- - I suppose that 'Hi' is just an opening, to give me the opportunity to respond further. Or, perhaps he didn't know what else to say!
